In 2015, a woman named Amanda Blackburn was murdered in Indianapolis, along with
her unborn child. Seven years later, Larry Jo Taylor Jr. — the man convicted of
pulling the trigger — faced Amanda's loved ones, prosecutors, and a judge in the
court room, as he awaited his sentence.
NOTE: In the episode we mention that Drew Snyder represented the state at this
hearing. We based this on an entry on mycase. We have been reliably informed
that Mr. Snyder was in fact not present at the hearing. As soon as we can get
confirmation of the identity of the prosecutor at the hearing, we will correct
the episode.
